Error while launching Ms Outlook 2003


Error message below appear while access to Ms Outlook

Errors have been detected in the file C:/Document and Settings/Administrator/LocalSettings/ApplicationsDatas/Microsoft/Outlook/outlook.ost.Quit Outlook and all mail- enabled applications and then use the inbox repair tool (scanpst.exe) to diagnose and repair error in the file. There are few option that above error message appear
- inproper way to close ms outlook
- Archive / outlook profile corrupted

there are few way for you to repair the error

1. Run Repair and Detect
A. From help menu, click on detect and repair to restore the ms outlook setting andapplication

2. Run Scanpst.exe on outlook profile(.ost) / archive(.pst)
A. Scanpst.exe can be easily found at C:/Program Files/Common Files/System/MSMAPI
B. inside the folder there a folder named with number either 1033 / 1044
C. open the scanpst.exe and browse for archive and there was 8 phrase to complete the scanning

3. Rename outlook profile (.ost)
A. Go to C:/Document and Settings/Administrator/Local Settings/ApplicationsDatas/Microsoft/Outlook
B. Rename the .ost and re-open your Ms Outlook

4. Recreate new profile (.ost) in ms outlook
A. Go to Control Panel and look for file name call mail, from mail click on show profile
B. Click on add profile, you may follow the step that i stated at the first lesson "How to create Profile in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003"
